Notes

Spring Valley Coffee is a Nairobi-based specialty roaster focused on showcasing Kenyan terroir. Karimikui comes from the Rungeto FCS cooperative in Kirinyaga county, on the southern slopes of Mt Kenya — an area celebrated for producing some of the country’s most complex and expressive lots.

Expect bright gooseberry and chamomile on the nose, a juicy rounded mouthfeel, and a sweet nougat finish. The SL-28 and SL-34 heritage delivers the characteristic Kenyan clarity and fruit-forward complexity; the fully-washed process keeps the cup clean and well-structured.

Brewed at 93°C throughout — upper end of the medium range, justified by the high-altitude Kirinyaga terroir. Ratio 1:16 for the medium roast classification.
